1. Sponsor

This giveaway (the “Giveaway”) is sponsored by Home Pros for Texas (“Sponsor,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By entering, participants agree to these Official Rules (“Terms”) in full.

 

2. Giveaway Period

The Giveaway begins on Wednesday, July 22, 2026 at 12:00 AM Central Time and continues until a winner is announced and the prize is fulfilled or forfeited in accordance with these Terms (the “Giveaway Period”). Sponsor reserves the right to extend, shorten, or end the Giveaway Period at its discretion, with notice posted on Sponsor’s social media pages.

 

3. Eligibility

The Giveaway is open only to legal residents of the greater San Antonio, Texas area who are at least 18 years old at the time of entry. Employees, owners, and contractors of Home Pros for Texas, their immediate family members (spouse, parents, children, siblings, and their respective spouses), and individuals living in the same household as any such person, are automatically disqualified from entering and are not eligible to win, regardless of whether they otherwise meet the entry requirements. Void where prohibited by law.

 

4. How to Enter

To enter, participants must, during the Giveaway Period:

  • Follow the Home Pros for Texas page on at least one of the following platforms: TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, or YouTube; and
  • Comment the word “BEST” on any post published by Home Pros for Texas on that same platform.

Each qualifying platform on which a participant both follows Home Pros for Texas and comments “BEST” on a post counts as one (1) entry. Participants may follow and comment on multiple platforms to increase their number of entries, subject to the entry limit below.

 

5. Entry Limit

Each participant may earn a maximum of five (5) entries total — one entry per qualifying platform (TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube). Multiple accounts, fake accounts, or any other method used to obtain additional entries beyond this limit are prohibited and may result in disqualification.

 

6. Prize

One (1) winner will be selected to receive one (1) of the following, winner’s choice:

  • A reverse osmosis water filtration system, installed; or
  • A Type 1 or Type 2 whole-home surge protector, installed; or
  • An Emporia whole-home energy monitoring system, installed; or
  • A $500 gift card to be applied toward any Home Pros for Texas installation.

The prize is non-transferable except as described in Section 9, and no cash equivalent or substitution will be offered except at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Installation is limited to a single-family residence located within the San Antonio service area and is subject to the home assessment described in Section 10.

 

7. Winner Selection & Notification

The winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received during the Giveaway Period. The winner will be revealed live on Home Pros for Texas’s Facebook and YouTube pages on Friday, July 31, 2026 at 12:00 PM Central Time, and will also be contacted directly using the information available from their qualifying entry. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.

 

The winner must respond to the notification and confirm acceptance of the prize within seven (7) days of the winner being announced. If the winner does not respond within this seven (7) day window, cannot be reached, does not meet the eligibility requirements in Section 3, or does not accept the prize, the winner will forfeit the prize and Sponsor may, at its sole discretion, select a runner-up from the remaining eligible entries in accordance with these Terms.

 

8. Verification & Disqualification

Sponsor reserves the right to verify eligibility and compliance with these Terms and to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, provides false or misleading information, or otherwise violates these Terms. Sponsor’s decisions regarding the Giveaway are final.

 

9. Prize Transfer

If the selected winner does not own a home, or otherwise decides not to accept the prize, the winner may transfer the prize to another eligible participant of their choosing. The recipient of a transferred prize must meet all eligibility requirements in Section 3 and must agree in writing to all Terms herein before the prize will be fulfilled.

 

10. Home Assessment & Installation

Before installation, the winner (or transferee) must agree to and schedule an in-home assessment with Home Pros for Texas to confirm the project area is safe and suitable for installation of the selected prize. Home Pros for Texas is responsible only for the specific area(s) of the home associated with the selected prize and is not responsible for any other area of the home. Sponsor reserves the right to decline or delay installation, or to offer an alternative prize option of comparable value, if the project area is deemed unsafe, inaccessible, or otherwise unfit for service.

Installation of the selected prize must be completed within thirty (30) days of the winner being announced, unless Sponsor, at its sole discretion, agrees to extend this timeframe (for example, due to scheduling, permitting, product availability, or other factors beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control).

 

11. Media Release

As a condition of receiving the prize, the winner must sign Sponsor’s Media Release form, granting Home Pros for Texas permission to photograph, film, and/or record the winner and the installation, and to use the winner’s name, likeness, image, and testimonial in Sponsor’s marketing and promotional materials, without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law.

 

12. General Conditions

  • This Giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, or their parent companies. Any questions or comments must be directed to Home Pros for Texas, not to the social media platforms.
  • Sponsor is not responsible for entries that are lost, late, incomplete, misdirected, or not received due to technical failures, platform outages, or other issues beyond Sponsor’s control.
  • By entering, participants release Sponsor and its owners, employees, and agents from any liability related to participation in the Giveaway or the acceptance, use, or misuse of the prize.
  • Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Giveaway if fraud, technical failure, or any other factor beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control impairs the integrity of the Giveaway.
  • Any tax liability associated with the prize is the sole responsibility of the winner.

 

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of this Giveaway will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Bexar County, Texas.
